Welcome to Ways-With Wood, featuring the woodwork of Ben Duckworth. Specifically, this includes roundpole timber framing in the roundhouse style, sculptural work, and interior fitted woodwork. The majority of the work is undertaken by hand in oak, tends towards a simple rustic aesthetic, and is sympathetic to the curves, shapes and textures inherent to the pieces of wood involved. Ben is of the school that buildings can be large sculptures. He has completed work for both private clients and for businesses and county councils. This website focuses on the roundhouse building aspect of his work.
